Exciting young talent Erling Haaland is a transfer target for many elite European clubs but his current club Borussia Dortmund are not keen on selling, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
“I can confirm that I was in Dortmund for talks,” Raiola told SPORT1.
“Michael Zorc (Borussia Dortmund sporting director) made it clear to us that Dortmund do not want to sell Erling this summer. I respect this opinion, but that does not automatically mean that I also agree.
“Dortmund were very clear in their views. We are okay with that. There is no war between us and Dortmund. Absolutely not.
“The relationship with Zorc, Aki (Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke) and (Dortmund director Sebastian) Kehl is still good.”

For those of you who have been living under a rock and do not know who Erling Haaland is: (1) why are you reading this blog and (2) where have you been all this time, the Bundesliga is even televised on SABC. At age 20, Haaland is already one of the best centre forwards in world football. He is strong, quick, deadly in the box and built like Randy Ortan before the steroids.
It’s only a matter of time until Haaland gets bought by a club bigger than Dortmund. But with his contract ending in 2024, the German club holds all the aces.
Borussia Dortmund says they don’t want to sell him but everybody has a price. I’m sure if an interested club could put enough zeros on their cheque, Dortmund will pack his bags for him.
