It’s rumoured that Florentino Perez is keen on asking Jose Mourinho to take over at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid stinks right now. But, they are still mathematically in the title race, still in the Champions League, and the Copa Del Rey.
You know why your favourite movie’s part 2’s are never as good as the original? Because a) the standards of the first flick are too high to reach, b) the second movie always seems to be a money grab and c) the actors have aged, the hero’s girl doesn’t look as sexy as she did in the first film.

Real Madrid have been… well.. To put it politely… Real Madrid have been shit in the past 7 months. They are a shell of their Champions League winning selves. Ronaldo left in July – did one player make that big of a difference? or did he get out when he saw the Titanic was about to sink?
Real Madrid gave Santi Solari a four contract. Nobody with common sense thought he’d last the duration hence no one is surprised Real Madrid president Perez is looking for a new manager.

Real Madrid supporters will be hoping he has learnt his lesson from the last time and now is more prepared.
If he gets the job, he will be inheriting an aging, uninspired, past their prime players. His job will be to tighten up back as Real Madrid are leaking more goals than WikiLeaks are leaking private emails.
Jose will have Ramos and Veran at his disposal, two World Cup winning defenders. If the back is sorted out the attack will sort out itself out.
