PSL Is Avoiding The Ajax Cape Town Interdict Like Child Maintenance

Ajax Cape Town’s urgent court application for an interdict to spoil our fun and stop the start of the 2018/2019 PSL season, has been postponed to Thursday.

The PSL is scheduled to start on the first weekend of August (Yey!). Ajax Cape Town are asking the South Gauteng High Court to block the season from kicking off without them (Boo!).

For now, it seems the PSL is ignoring Ajax Cape Town like a nagging baby momma as they have already released the fixtures for the upcoming season.

The Urban Warriors were docked points last season because they apparently played an eligible player in Tendai Ndoro. The deduction of points and how they played soccer last season led to their relegation. Ajax took the issue to court and it ruled that the Cape Town outfit weren’t in the wrong.

Needless to say, this is a major screw up.

The PSL’s appeal will now be heard at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday with Ajax’s interdict set down for 11:30 a.m.
